Family Matters: A Photo Journey in Time

At this stage of life, I try to have as few regrets as possible, but if you ask me to name one, it would be not learning more about my father’s family history before his dementia made even small conversations difficult.

Gratefully, I was able to retrieve some amazing photographs amongst hundreds of files in his closet after he died. Copies of some are included here, along with my mother’s side of the family.

What an emotional journey this creation turned out to be, as simply handling the images provided an unexpected conduit to the past.
