Flowers - Nature's Crayons
Growing up, my favorite crayon in the 64 pack was Magenta. I loved the color, but I also loved saying the word. Ma.gen.ta. Fast forward sixty plus years and this deep rich pink tone is still a favorite. In fact, I’ve just done a few new art pieces celebrating its lush quality. It’s also front and center in my yard. This beauty is a plumeria cutting from a larger tree. I break off a branch; let the cut part dry for a few weeks and then simply stick it in the ground. Six months later – voila!! These beautiful blooms have appeared.
Do you have a color that speaks to you? Does it find its way into your art, your home, your clothes?
