An Amazing Mom

"The essence of all beautiful art is gratitude." I've mentioned before that my mom, Sally, was an amazing artist. My love of floral painting came from her, I'm sure. She passed away just shy of her 91st birthday, on March 28, 2013. Using her paintbrushes, I created these gifts for everyone who attended her Celebration of Life ceremony. They were gone in an instant, which she would have loved.

My mom had a beautiful spirit, teaching us about love, friendship, art, and the importance of expressing gratitude every single day. She also taught me how to pull my bra off through my shirt sleeve. And we shared a fondness for the same four letter curse word…She was one of a kind. Today I celebrate her! ❤️
